About This Event
Our adult program offers classes at 6.30pm, three times a week (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday).
Our adult program includes students as young as 10 through to students as mature as 80+! The adult syllabus starts from 15 years old, with students learning the junior (children’s) syllabus up until this age.
Our classes are suitable for beginners through to advanced students. On Monday and Thursday, an advanced class is run simultaneously for our green, brown and black belt students. Black belt classes are also run at 7.30pm on Monday and Thursday.
Adults and teenagers learn discipline, focus, confidence, strength and humility as well as being active and having the opportunity to socialise, meet and work out with like-minded individuals of various ages, abilities and backgrounds.

Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Join our wildlife expert for an engaging and immersive session in nature, where you'll meet your wild neighbours and some of Brisbane's most iconic animals. Discover what makes them special, how they live, and the vital role they play in our ecosystems. Your actions matter. By learning more about our native species, you’ll be empowered to make simple changes — like planting native vegetation or keeping pets indoors at night. These actions help protect our incredible biodiversity and ensure our wildlife neighbours continue to thrive. Requirements: Arrive minimum 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the centre. All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult. Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed shoes, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent as some shows may take place outside. Bring water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site. Note: Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Passport to the Universe
