Brisbane City Council proudly presents a special series of Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts for Brisbane Festival - East of West.ARIA-nominated trio East of West draws from the rich cultural melting pot of the Balkans and Mediterranean, spiced with contemporary European jazz. Bosnian-born composer Goran Gajić, Philip Griffin, and Malindi Morris explore the borderlands between genres through intricate composition and improvisation.This Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert is produced by Brisbane Festival.

Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane's botanic gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors.Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size.Walk timesDaily departures at 11am and 1pm, Monday to Saturday.Walks last about one hour and are taken at a gentle pace.Meeting point: City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology's Main Drive pathway).Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.
