Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of "taking a trip up the tower" happily continues at Museum of Brisbane.The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane's oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia's largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Children's storytime in the park - Frew Park, Milton
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers.First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.Location: On site parking available off Frew Street. Session is held at playground.
Aqua interval training
A highly effective form of cardiovascular training, which involves brief bursts of high-intensity work followed by a recovery period. This allows you to workout at a higher intensity, with less impact on the body and with the added benefit of resistance that the water provides. Suitable for all fitness levels. Everyone works at their own pace.

Bookings essential. Maintain or increase your fitness with exercises; improve strength, mobility, flexibility and balance in a fun, welcoming group setting. Specifically targeted to suit active older adults and those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.

Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane's Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors.Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size.Walk timesDaily departures at 11am and 1pm, Monday to Saturday.Walks last about one hour and are taken at a gentle pace.Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre.Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Looking to connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming space? Join us at Marhaba Café for a Chatty Table-a simple and friendly way to meet new people over a cuppa. Pull up a chair and enjoy a chat with others in your community, whether you're dropping in for a quick hello or staying a while.Location: Brisbane City Hall (basement level). Enter via the corner of Adelaide and Albert Streets-look for the pink signs and take the stairs down.Hosted by a friendly volunteer, the Chatty Table creates a space where conversation flows easily and everyone is welcome.

This activity provides children with the valuable skills to be safe in and around water. Access to this session requires parental enrolment in the 11.30am-12:30pm empowered to swim session which runs at the same time.

Aqua fitness
Bookings essential. Experience an excellent, low-impact cross-training workout in the water. Feel the benefits of exercise without the pain. Using minimum impact movements, participants will develop strength, mobility and movement in a fun environment.
