About This Event

Gathering presents The Custodians The Custodians is a legacy carried on by dynamic duo, brothers, Dimple Bani Jr and Jack Bani who are both deeply connected to their roots, telling stories through songs with soulful harmonies and modern flair.  Honouring their heritage, they blend ancestral melodies and contemporary sounds with language from their home Mabuyag, Torres Strait. Their unique style is one of the links connecting the past to the present to create the future.  Don't miss the chance to see The Custodians perform in Brisbane on Wednesday 17 September, 12 noon to 1pm at the Queen Street Mall stage.  This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.
