About This Event
Gathering presents Leanne Levinge. Leanne Levinge (Kombumerri and Ngugi) is a narrative therapist, counsellor, and facilitator based in Magandjin (Brisbane). Through her practice, Big Hill & Oyster, she designs reflective experiences that nurture compassion, connection, and reconciliation, weaving together story, culture, and community to grow understanding and strengthen our shared humanity. Join Kombumerri and Ngugi narrative therapist Leanne Levinge for a gentle, interactive hour of reflection and storytelling. Together, we’ll explore how compassion can grow through story and connection, add our own words to a community display, and take home native seeds to nurture as living reminders of kindness. Join us at the main stage, Queen Street Mall from 12 noon-1pm. This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tive Nations.

Clock Tower Tour

Children’s storytime in the park - Wynnum Wading Pool Park, Wynnum
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government. Location: This session is held in Whale Park, near the Wynnum Jetty (around 137 Wynnum Esplanade). On-street and park parking is available nearby.
