A combination of cardio, strength and stretching exercises designed to help you increase or maintain your fitness. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
Yoga
Focus on a range of movements for active, healthy ageing and to relax the mind and body. Stretching, breathing, strength and balance exercises are included by incorporating standing poses and mat work into the session. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
Children’s storytime in the park - Svoboda Park, Kuraby
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

Come and enjoy the great outdoors with your little ones while you move and make music together. You will share a special time with other parents, while helping your little ones learn and grow through musical play and movement. Take home tips for how to keep grooving and creating musical moments at home provided.

Bookings essential. Beginners line dancing is designed to help you improve your memory while exercising and having fun as well as meeting new friends along the way. Everyone is welcome and no partner is required.
Free guided tour - City Botanic Gardens
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway). Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.
