Magic Globe: A Story of the Seasons is an animated adventure that is perfect for engaging children from 5 to 12 years old. On vacation at her grandpa’s, a little girl named Mia accidentally discovers a mysterious piece of astronomical machinery. Edmund, Mia’s eccentric uncle, tricks the girl into using the tool’s secret powers to change the world’s seasons. She realizes the consequences of what they are going to do, but Edmund doesn’t want to let the plan go... Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky.

English conversation group
This friendly and informal group meets in the library every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Come along to make new friends and improve your English. Learners of all levels are welcome.
Bands in Parks: Disney and the Duke
Bands in Parks performs at 7th Brigade Park. Brisbane Symphonic Band presents a selection of music from animated movies alongside some jazz classics, a splash of good old Aussie Rock and a sprinkle of folk music for good measure. With something for everyone, bring the family and furry friends, head down to the park with a picnic rug or chair and sit back and enjoy an hour of pure entertainment.
Journey to the Stars
This dazzling space show launches visitors through space and time to experience the life and death of the stars in our night sky, including our own nurturing Sun. Tour familiar stellar formations, explore new celestial mysteries, and discover the fascinating, unfolding story that connects us all to the stars. Those who come along for the journey may never see the night sky in the same way again. Narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Passport to the Universe
Get your passport for a thrilling journey through the Solar System, beneath the rings of Saturn, into the heart of the Orion Nebula, out of the Milky Way Galaxy and to the edge of the observable universe, returning home via a black hole.
