Ideal for babies aged up to one year. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

Volunteer Bushcare Working Bee - Perrin Creek & Seven Hills Bushland Rehabilitation Group
Join other like-minded volunteers to help protect and restore Brisbane’s unique biodiversity through our Habitat Brisbane program. Whatever your skill level and motivation, joining your local Habitat Brisbane group is a great way to connect to nature and be active and healthy, all while meeting new people, developing new skills and making a difference to your local environment. With 160 groups across the city there’s bound to be one near you! Habitat Brisbane volunteers undertake a variety of activities including: managing environmental weeds revegetating with local native plants creating habitat for native wildlife citizen science projects.The Perrin Creek & Seven Hills Bushland Rehabilitation Group meet every Tuesday and every Friday, and the second Saturday of the month 7.30-10am. Location: Seven Hills Bushland Reserve, 508 Darcy Road, Seven Hills.
Rock climbing
Bookings essential. Conquer your fears and experience the thrills of climbing at Kangaroo Point under the safe instruction of qualified facilitators. This is a Chillout event suitable for young people 10-17 years.

Community Immunisation Clinic - Carindale (morning)
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as influenza, measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus. Take a look at the National Health Medical Research Council vaccination schedule for advice about when you should be vaccinated. Providing a free immunisation service is another way Council is helping deliver our Brisbane Vision.

Bookings essential. Staying active and having fun is what this program is all about. Enjoy giant earth ball games, tug of war challenges, fun relay races, parachute games and many more activities. This is an ideal activity for the young at heart. This is a Chillout event suitable for young people 8-17 years.
Diving
*** This event has been cancelled. *** Bookings essential. Jump on board and get coached how to leap off springboards safely with an opportunity to transition into the sport of diving. Participants must be confident in deep water. This is a Chillout event suitable for young people 6-17 years.

Meet other parents and toddlers for a fun session of singing, clapping and dancing. Learn action rhymes and songs which will help your child’s pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills. Ideal for babies and toddlers aged 1-2 years. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
