About This Event
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as influenza, measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus. Take a look at Immunisation Schedule Queensland for advice about when you should be vaccinated. Providing a free immunisation service is another way Council is helping deliver Brisbane Vision 2031.

Clock Tower Tour

Children’s storytime in the park - 7th Brigade Park, Chermside
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. Billy's Buddies ball sports
Bookings essential. This program is designed for kids aged 2-7 and serves as the home of Non-Contact Rugby League for children. At Billy's Buddies, they celebrate all sports not just Rugby League! Their programs focus on fun, helping kids build social skills while learning the fundamentals of Rugby League and ball sports in general.
Yoga
Focus on a range of movements for active, healthy ageing and to relax the mind and body. Stretching, breathing, strength and balance exercises are included by incorporating standing poses and mat work into the session..
AMPLIFY Drop-In and Draw Session
AMPLIFY Drop-in Draw Sessions Venue: Side Gallery, 7 Emma Street, Red Hill, Brisbane. Two Drop-in and Draw Days are being held at Side Gallery on 16 and 17 March. You are all invited to sketch, chat and connect with the curator and some of the AMPLIFY ME! artists. Side gallery is proud to present AMPLIFY, a group exhibition featuring the original artworks from Brisbane City Council's Outdoor Gallery exhibition, AMPLIFY ME! - a city-wide project celebrating local artists with lived experience of disability. This exhibition offers the rare opportunity to see the original works behind the large-scale banners currently enlivening Brisbane's streets, revealing the detail, materiality and process of each artist's practice in anintimate gallery setting.

Free guided tour - City Botanic Gardens
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway). Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.
