The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Experience the magic of storytime with your child at the library. This interactive session includes stories, songs and mark making activities for young children. Ideal for children aged 2-5 years. Free guided tour - Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.
Sensory friendly: Tween STEAM
Join us for fun tactile and digital activities designed to relax and inspire. Ideal for young people aged 10-13 years who are neurodivergent or experience sensory sensitivity or sensory overload. Places are limited, please see library staff to book.
English conversation group

The QUBE Effect Live
See maira, Princessinit, Tear Drive and TYDE perform live as part of The QUBE Effect 2025. Finalists have been busy developing their skills and working with industry professionals. This is your chance to see them perform live during April at The Triffid. These are all ages events, people under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
