Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Craig & Karl: Double Vision
Craig & Karl: Double Vision is a dynamic, playful exploration of one of Queensland's most internationally successful creative exports. Employing Craig & Karl’s signature visual language, defined by bold colour, graphic precision, and infectious joy, the exhibition explores the artists’ three-decade-long creative partnership, their influence on global public art and design trends, and the enduring impact of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art & Design, where the artists first met almost 30 years ago. Our favourite cheeky dog is blasting off to discover the red planet, Mars. Tycho is in search of water to fly his steam-powered space kennel back home. But how will he find water on Mars, when it looks so cold, dusty and dry? Produced by Melbourne Planetarium at Scienceworks, Museums Victoria. Community Immunisation Clinic - Sunnybank Hills
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as influenza, measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus. Take a look at the National Health Medical Research Council vaccination schedule for advice about when you should be vaccinated. Providing a free immunisation service is another way Council is helping deliver our Brisbane Vision.
Passport to the Universe
Get your passport for a thrilling journey through the Solar System, beneath the rings of Saturn, into the heart of the Orion Nebula, out of the Milky Way Galaxy and to the edge of the observable universe, returning home via a black hole. Narrated by Tom Hanks. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Passport to the Universe was developed by the American Museum of Natural History, New York in collaboration with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
