Whatever your skill level and motivation, joining your local Habitat Brisbane group is a great way to connect to nature and be active and healthy, all while meeting new people, developing new skills and making a difference to your local environment. With 160 groups across the city there’s bound to be one near you!
Habitat Brisbane volunteers undertake a variety of activities including: Managing environmental weeds revegetating with local native plants creating habitat for native wildlife citizen science projectsNicholas Park Bushcare Group meet every Wednesday 7.30- 9.30am at Nicholas Park, 1 Anembo Street, The Gap.

Tai Chi Qigong
This dynamic activity is invigorating and will help you feel relaxed, refreshed and calm. Rejuvenate your body and learn to create a tranquil mind. Join any week. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
Yogalates
Yoga and Pilates fusion, a fitness routine that combines Pilates exercises with the postures and breathing techniques of yoga. Suitable for all ages, no previous yoga experience required.
Bulimba Creek Bikeway
Explore sections of the fantastic Bulimba Creek Bikeway as it hugs the creek and meanders through Murarrie, Cannon Hill, Carina and Carindale. This ride will also explore the Minnippi bikeway that connects Wynnum Rd to Creek Rd. Mostly flat 20 km ride on bike paths. Presented as part of Council's Cycling Brisbane program.
Yoga
Focus on a range of movements for active, healthy ageing and to relax the mind and body. Stretching, breathing, strength and balance exercises are included by incorporating standing poses and mat work into the session. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.

Bookings essential. Movement is fundamental for enjoying an active, fun and healthy life. This program will focus on improving your balance, stability, co-ordination, strength and cardio fitness for healthy ageing. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
