Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Perfect Little Planet
Children will love this tour of the Solar System through the eyes of a family of aliens on vacation from another star system. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. This show contains some sudden sound effects, fast moving scenes and flashing light sequences.
Adult bike skills
Ready to ride where you want to go by bike? This essential workshop will focus on how to ride on the road and will include learning how to ensure you are seen and can be seen. Our experienced instructor will observe you putting your new skills into practice and provide useful tips on riding to where you want to go, including choosing suitable routes. Presented as part of Council's Cycling Brisbane program.
Music on Sundays 2: Spirit of the Violin
A violin showcase of electrifying flair. Led by conductor Jessica Gethin and featuring Principal First Violin Johnny van Gend, this concert is a celebration of elegance and remarkable virtuosity. Waxman’s Carmen Fantasie and Tchaikovsky’s sparkling Valse-Scherzo offer thrilling moments for solo violin, before Glazunov’s Scènes de ballet closes the concert with rhapsodic fervor. You’ll also hear Jessica Wells’ Suite from Butterfly Effect, a World Premiere that’s a fresh and poignant take on the iconic opera, alongside the stately Polonaise from Eugene Onegin. Expect beauty, brilliance, and music that dances. Queensland Symphony Orchestra is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council.
Encounters in the Milky Way
Discover the chance encounters that have shaped our place in the universe. Narrated by Pedro Pascal, Encounters in the Milky Way is a time-traveling journey about the cosmic movements that shape our galactic neighborhood. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Encounters in the Milky Way was developed by the American Museum of Natural History (amnh.org) with the major support and partnership of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Our experienced instructor will cover helmet and bike checks, and go over a few basic skills before the ride starts. Presented as part of Council's Cycling Brisbane program.

Journey to the Stars
This dazzling space show launches visitors through space and time to experience the life and death of the stars in our night sky, including our own nurturing Sun. Narrated by Whoopi Goldberg. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Journey to the Stars was developed by the American Museum of Natural History, New York in collaboration with the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco; GOTO INC, Tokyo, Japan; Papalote; Museo del Niño, Mexico City, Mexico; and Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Washington, D.C. Journey to the Stars was created by the American Museum of Natural History, with the major support and partnership of NASA, Science Mission Directorate, Heliophysics Division.
