Friends, we are gathered here today to celebrate the life of… YOU. Welcome to a bold, immersive journey into your own imagined funeral. A thoughtful, tender, funny and quietly transformative contemplation of what makes you feel most alive. From ashes and embalming, to cardboard boxes and eco burials, this is not a performance to watch from afar, but an intimate and relevant inquiry into your own mortality because any day could be the last. We invite you to join us for some light refreshments after the show where we can share stories and continue to celebrate the life of… YOU. Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Deep water running
This is an aquatic workout that uses all major muscle groups. Participants wear a buoyancy belt so there's no need to worry about being in deep water however you do require basic swimming skills. Classes will be held in the outdoor 50m pool. You must bring your own bouyancy belt for this class.
Special walk: Fascination of plants
Join a group of volunteer guides on a fascinating walk through the gardens. Each will share some favourite anecdotes and information about plants in a series of interesting talks. Prepare to be fascinated, amazed and enlightened! Requirements: This walk includes moderate physical activity, including walking slightly longer distances, up gentle slopes and stairs or walking on some uneven surfaces. Some standing periods for guide explanations but no sitting. Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Meeting point: Meet at the Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour.
