Children’s storytime in the park - Pallara Park, Pallara
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

This class will include stretching and activation exercises designed to lengthen and strengthen your body and posture in a relaxed group setting. The Australian Army Band Brisbane
Join the Australian Army Band Brisbane as they present a concert to mark the beginning of Autumn. The full 22-piece big band, featuring an array of exciting vocalists, will be performing a selection of favourites both old and new. The Australian Army Band Brisbane features a traditional big band line-up of saxophones, trumpets, trombones and rhythm section, complemented by a range of vocalists. Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway).
