Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

Join us as we explore the fascinating world of mini beasts and discover the vital roles they play in our environment - from pollination to decomposition - along with their hidden talents! Experience a garden from an ant’s perspective, observe bugs in action as they carry out their important ecological duties, and discover how we can all help take care of our environment. Requirements on the day: Arrive 10 minutes before the start of the event to check in at Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre.All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult.Bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.Note: This event is held indoors.

Bookings essential. Nature Moves: Leap, stretch, twist, and run! Kids will move like the wind and the trees, using their bodies to create stories, play games, and explore the outdoors as a stage. This is a Chillout event suitable for young people 5-14 years.
Passport to the Universe
Get your passport for a thrilling journey through the Solar System, out of the Milky Way Galaxy and to the edge of the observable universe, returning home via a black hole. Narrated by Tom Hanks. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Passport to the Universe was developed by the American Museum of Natural History, New York in collaboration with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Major support for new version provided by the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco.
Community Immunisation Clinic - Carindale
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as influenza, measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus.
