Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents Liberace: The Man and the Music.Step into the dazzling world of Liberace with Adam Przewlocki's captivating one-man show, Liberace: The Man and the Music.Blending storytelling and virtuosic piano performance, Adam recounts milestone moments from the life of the legendary entertainer while performing many of Liberace's most iconic showpieces. Audiences will thrill to excerpts from Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody, Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, Bumble Boogie, Exodus and the beloved Indian Love Call.Dynamic, moving and filled with sparkle, this unforgettable celebration captures the glamour, charisma and extraordinary musicianship of 'Mr. Showman' himself - complete with a candelabra or two!This Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert is produced by Salubrious Productions.

Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane's Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors.Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size.Walk timesDaily departures at 11am and 1pm, Monday to Saturday.Walks last about one hour and are taken at a gentle pace.Meeting point: City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology's Main Drive pathway).Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

The Lord Mayor's Seniors Cabaret is a free program for Brisbane seniors. It offers expert guidance and helps develop creative talents in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Prepare, deliver, succeed - if you can dream it, you can do it!This year's theme is Legends and icons: the people, moments and music that shaped our world. This theme is a powerful way to celebrate the extraordinary individuals, defining moments and unforgettable music that have shaped generations.After completing the masterclasses, some participants perform in a showcase which are held across the city.
