Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers.First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
Yoga
Focus on a range of movements to relax the mind and body. Stretching, breathing, strength and balance exercises are included by incorporating standing poses and mat work into the session.This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
Aqua yoga
This is a low impact form of exercise that supports the body while still providing function and movement. Many yoga poses that you do in a class can be adapted for the pool, sometimes using the pool walls as if it were the studio floor.
Music beat kids groups
Come and enjoy the great outdoors with your little ones while you move and make music together. You will share a special time with other parents, while helping your little ones learn and grow through musical play and movement. Take home tips for how to keep grooving and creating musical moments at home provided.

Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane's botanic gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors.Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group?
