About This Event

Enjoy a fun workshop learning the basics of nature journaling, the creative practice of recording your interactions with nature on paper. You can use sketches, paintings, poetry, species lists, numbers, graphs, cartoons and more. This fun, relaxing practice encourages mindfulness, hones observation skills, and builds a sense of curiosity and wonder! BYO sketch/art pad. Other materials provided.This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity please send an email.Requirements:Please bring your your own sketch/art pad.Arrive 10 minutes early to check in.All children must be directly supervised throughout by an adult booked into the event.Hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed shoes (no thongs or open shoes please), sunscreen, insect repellent.Please bring an outdoor chair if you would like to use one.Bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site.Note: This activity will go ahead in light rain and will be adapted for delivery indoors if required. Outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
