Come join us at Brisbane City Council Parks for an exciting 1.5 hours of sensory messy play! Our sessions are designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and laughter while encouraging children to explore through touch, sight, and smell. All activities use non-toxic, food-based materials, making them safe for even the littlest hands. If your child has allergies, please reach out in advance so we can prepare allergy-friendly trays tailored to their needs. Clock Tower Tour

For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. Children’s storytime in the park - 7th Brigade Park, Chermside
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government. Billy's Buddies ball sports
Bookings essential. This program is designed for kids aged 2-7 and serves as the home of Non-Contact Rugby League for children. At Billy's Buddies, they celebrate all sports not just Rugby League! Their programs focus on fun, helping kids build social skills while learning the fundamentals of Rugby League and ball sports in general.

Free guided tour - City Botanic Gardens
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway). Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.
