About This Event
Learn about the unique plants and animals of the wetlands on this gentle, easy, all abilities 2km walk. A volunteer guide will lead you around the trail, visiting the Bird Hide, observe distinct changes in vegetation, and discover why Boondall Wetlands is an internationally important conservation area. After the walk, visitors can enjoy other nearby walking tracks, relax in the picnic area, and visit Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre.
Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note: Walks are subject to weather and environmental conditions.
