Sherwood Arboretum Guided Walk
Sherwood Arboretum, established in 1925, is Brisbane’s only botanic garden dedicated exclusively to growing Australian native trees. The Arboretum holds scientific and cultural values with many of the original plantings undertaken by prominent citizens of Brisbane. The guided walk will be led by the Volunteer Guides of the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha and the Friends of Sherwood Arboretum. Requirements: Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Meeting point: Meet at the shelter adjacent to the main carpark off Jolimont Street, Sherwood. Cost: Free. Age: Open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Venue: Sherwood Arboretum, 87 Jolimont Street, Sherwood. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Experience the magic of storytime with your child at the library. This interactive session includes stories, songs and mark making activities for young children. Ideal for children aged 2-5 years. The First 5 Forever initiative is funded by the Queensland Government.
