
Bush Kindy: Library Stories and Rhymes

About This Event
Come along for a special Bush Kindy and make memories with your little ones as they take part in story-time and rhymes in the natural environment. Bush Kindy sessions can go for up to 45 minutes and themes vary each week.
Bush Kindy is for children aged 3-5 years, alongside their parents and carers. This session is presented in partnership with Brisbane City Council Libraries and First 5 Forever. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, co-ordinated by the State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity please email Council.
Requirements: Arrive minimum 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the centre. All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult. Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed walking shoes (no thongs or open shoes please), sunscreen, and bring insect repellent. Suitable old clothes recommended for messy play. Bring water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site.Note: Outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

Maximum 5 tickets. A ratio of 1 adult per 4 children is required. All adults and children (including infants) must have a ticket.
As this event is popular and places limited, late arrival tickets will be forfeited to make way for available attendees. Please cancel online via Eventbrite if you cannot attend.
