The South of the River Community Band will be performing a fun and eclectic mix of fan favourites at the Wynnum Whale Park.
Featuring tunes from the Barbie movie and some Taylor Swift hits, mixed with classic rock anthems by INXS and Queen. You'll also enjoy nostalgic melodies from Astro Boy and Sesame Street plus rousing marches and Broadway favourites.

Come and explore the magnificent City Botanic Gardens and find out about what makes the City Botanic Gardens so unique within the Australian landscape. Sunday guided walks are led by City Botanic Gardens Volunteer Guides. Requirements: Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Meeting point: Meet at the Visitor Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology's Main Drive pathway). Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size.
