Join a volunteer guide on a walk to celebrate native bees in our gardens on World Bee Day. Come on a bee hunt and find out who is visiting the flowers, collecting pollen, nectar and resin. Discover fascinating facts about these little creatures and how they fit into our ecosystem.
Join us on a gentle walk where you'll hear the the buzz about Native Bees.
Requirements: This walk requires average physical activity, including walking distances up to 500m, possibly some uneven ground but mainly paved paths. Stops are short and mainly for guide explanations. Some short standing periods or sitting if required. Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
Meeting point: Meet at the Visitor Information Centre.
