Pollinators in our garden - Special guided walk - Brisbane Botanic Gardens

Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha
Free Event

About This Event

Pollination is the essential step in producing next season’s plants. The flowering plants dominate our vegetation and rely on ‘help’ with this process; birds, bees, other insects and even mammals play a role here. Come and see the variety of pollination processes that make up the beautiful world of plants in our gardens. Join a volunteer guide on this special walk at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Requirements: This walk includes moderate physical activity, including walking slightly longer distances, up gentle slopes and stairs or walking on some uneven surfaces. Some standing periods for guide explanations but no sitting. Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Meeting point: Meet at the Visitor Information Centre. For more information, call 07 3403 2535.
