Join other like-minded volunteers to help protect and restore Brisbane’s unique biodiversity through our Habitat Brisbane program. Whatever your skill level and motivation, joining your local Habitat Brisbane group is a great way to connect to nature and be active and healthy, all while meeting new people, developing new skills and making a difference to your local environment. With 160 groups across the city there’s bound to be one near you! Habitat Brisbane volunteers undertake a variety of activities including: managing environmental weeds revegetating with local native plants creating habitat for native wildlife citizen science projects. The Brandon Bushcare Group meet the 2nd Sunday of the month.

Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Free guided tour - Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.
Christmas On Queen
From roller-skating candy canes to still walkers and musical trios (and even a grumpy strop!), Queen Street Mall will be taken over by roving Christmas performances over the month of December. Come and say hello! Times: 11am–3pm daily 4pm–8pm daily. Where: Roving throughout Queen Street Mall.
The Magic & Circus Show Christmas Edition
Rhett Marrow and Jason Gray are beloved Queenslanders who know how to delight a crowd of all ages with the circus and magic skills. Bring the family and have an afternoon of laughter and awe over the Christmas holidays! Where: Queen Street Mall stage. When: Every Saturday and Sunday in December (6-7, 13-14 and 20-21 December). Times: 12pm and 1pm.
Yoga
Focus on a range of movements to relax the mind and body. Stretching, breathing, strength and balance exercises are included by incorporating mat work into the session.

The Yeronga Bushcare Group meet on the second Sunday of the month: autumn/winter months - 3-5pm spring/summer months - 3-30-5.30pm. Venue: Ron Goeldner Park (access via 20 Heritage Close), Yeronga.

A recreational activity and sport using your navigational skills and a specially produced map to discover your local parks and outdoor recreation areas. Run, jog or walk - individually or in a group. Full instruction given. All ages and fitness levels welcome.
Architects - 2025 Australian Tour
British metalcore legends Architects are returning to Australia with special guests House Of Protection and PRESIDENT! British heavyweights Architects announce an Australian headline tour for December 2025, with special guests House of Protection and PRESIDENT. Presented by Live Nation, Architects will be heading to our shores to promote their new album The Sky, The Earth and All Between, which debuted No.8 on the ARIA overall album chart and No.2 on the ARIA physical album chart. The tour will kick off in Melbourne at Festival Hall on Thursday 11 December, then heading to the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on Saturday 13 December and ending at the Riverstage in Brisbane on Sunday 14 December. Be prepared, this will be one of THE rock shows of 2025.
A Christmas Dreamscape
Choreographed and brought to life by Paradox Dance Company, join the adventures of a young girl who drifts off into a magical dreamscape on Christmas Eve. Along her journey she encounters a mix of fairytale Christmas figures that help discovers that the true spirit of Christmas isn’t found in gifts or glitter, but in connection, love, and giving from the heart. Where: Queen Street Mall stage. When: Friday 5 December (opening night) Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 12-14 December Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 19-21 December. Times: Performances at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm.
